At this year's Visa pour l’Image festival of photojournalism, Ami Vitale will take home the 2003 Canon Female Photojournalist Award granted by the Association des Femmes Journalistes for her project "Kashmir, A Troubled Paradise." It includes a grant of € 8000 for a project to be completed in one year. The award will be presented to her in Perpignan on Friday September 5th, 2003.
